Abstract

1,226,992. Handles for rackets. E. DINKHAUSER. 13 March, 1968 [14 March, 1967], No. 12212/68. Heading A6D. A racket comprises a frame (not shown) having a shaft 1, attached thereto, a handle 4, which is attached or attachable to the shaft by engagement of a surface portion of the shaft with a complementary surface formed by the hollow interior of a bore 5, in the handle, and a terminal cap 7, which includes means 9, for holding a weight (not shown) for balancing the racket, and which is attached to the end of the handle which is furthest from the frame when the racket is assembled. The shaft and handle may be secured by one or more screws, by a bayonet joint, or adhesviely bonded together.
