Class 132(2) The end of the string 1 passes through a tapered compressible plug 5 which grips the string when inserted in a correspondingly-shaped socket 8 fitting the hole 7 in the frame. The plug has longitudinal slots 6 to render it compressible and may be internally threaded to improve the grip on the string.
