A motor vehicle has a seat 20 pivotable between two settings in which it is selectively retainable by pin 25 (Fig. 4, not shown), and a steering wheel 16 and steering lever 37 which are alternatively accessible to a driver of the vehicle in the two seat settings. Two steering levers 37, 38 are provided, mounted on shafts 29, 32 with interengaging gear-wheels (Fig. 5, not shown), so that the levers move in opposite directions, lever 37 being coupled to steering drop arm 14 by rod 40. Duplicate clutch pedals 17, 46 and brake pedals for the individual rear wheel brakes are provided for operation in the two settings of the seat, the pedals 46, 59 and 55 being respectively mounted on one end of shafts 45 and 58 and rotatable tube 52, the other ends of which are connected through arms 48, 60 and 56 and rods to the pedals 17, 18, 19.
