Abstract
1,044,655. Valves. V. K. RELF. June 9, 1964 [May 20, 1963], No. 19916/63. Heading F2V. In a fluid pressure reducing valve, the annular diaphragm 8 (Fig. 1, not shown), is formed at its centre with an annular up-turned flange 11 which surrounds an inlet conduit 9 which enters the pressure chamber 4, the conduit being integral with housing 3 and cooperating with a closure member 22. The closure member is housed in a jumper cap 23 connected to the diaphragm and a diaphragm support ring 18, the latter being provided with projections 19 which coact with a plate 14 to transmit the adjustable force of spring 13. The jumper cap is provided with a hole 30 which allows easy removal of the closure member. A non-return valve 32, 33 is provided in the inlet conduit.
