Abstract

A suspension member of a vehicle comprises a casing 1 divided into a gas chamber 3 and a liquid chamber 4 by a bladder 5, the bladder having a rim 6 clamped against the casing 1 by a plate 10 which is spaced from the casing to define a space 12 which is connected to the gas chamber 3 through a hole 18 in the plate 10. The plate is held in position by a nut 17 screwed on to a threaded plug 14 having a seal 14 and internal passages through which gas can be supplied to the chamber 3.
