A bucket pump, e.g. for feeding liquid or semi-liquid to moving moulds for making ice cream cones, etc., comprises a pumping assembly rotating about axis Y and an actuating assembly rotating about axis Z. When in the position shown, pump delivery valve 9 is opened by engagement with a mould moving along path C, and the pump bucket 5 is moved on its delivery stroke by a plunger 27, which is actuated by a spring 21. The return movement of bucket 5 is effected by spring 16, and the return movement of actuating plunger 27 by stationary cam tracks 30. The pump is continuously supplied via a chamber 1 having a heating or cooling jacket 2. Liquid passes from chamber 1 to pumping chamber 4 via clearances 13 and bucket valve 7. Stroke varying is provided by adjustable shoe 18 on rod 12 and by adjustable end cap 25 on actuating cylinder 20. A number of pumps may be arranged in parallel with a common supply chamber 1 and common drive gear.
