Abstract

1,042,382. Reactors. UNITED KINGDOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY. Jan. 11, 1965 [Jan. 10, 1964], No. 1175/64. Addition to 968,889. Heading G6C. In a nuclear reactor of the type described in the parent Specification, in which control is effected by adjustment of the liquid moderator level by gas pressure, a safety vent is provided to prevent the gas pressure rising beyond a predetermined valve and so to limit the level of the moderator free surface.
