1,042,061. Internal shoe drum brakes. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO. Ltd. Feb. 24, 1964 [Feb. 22, 1963], No. 7283/63. Heading F2E. A brake comprises a back plate 1 and a pair of brake shoes 2 (not shown), 3, the brake shoe 3 being pivotally attached to a shoe carrier 4 by a lever. The shoes are restrained by a steady means which includes a bracket 16 pivotally riveted to the back plate 1 and having at its free end a slot with which slot co-operates a stud 21 secured to the brake shoe 3. An enlarged head 22 of the stud 21 abuts the side of the bracket remote from the brake shoe 3. A further rivet 24 in the brake back plate cooperates with an arcuate slot in the bracket 16 to limit the pivotal movement of the bracket,
