Abstract

1,041,824. Pot burners. CONTROLS COMPANY OF AMERICA. May 6, 1964 [May 16, 1963], No. 19403/63. Heading F4T. At closing down of the pot burner air enters a tube 14 extending upwardly from the fuel pipe 13 and forms with fuel vapour a jet flame which cleanses a spark igniter 16 and a metal gauze wick 16a extending from the spark gap into the bottom of the pot. A part cylindrical baffle 17 surrounds the spark plug.
