Abstract
1,041,564. Valves. R. TRIST CONTROLS Ltd. Nov. 16, 1962 [Nov. 27, 1961], No. 17294/66. Divided out of 1,041,563. Heading F2V. [Also in Division G1] In a boiler plant in which a liquid level indicator is connected through a port 2 to the water leg of a boiler and through a lateral port 3 with a chamber and steam leg of the boiler and the ports 2, 3 are connectable by a reciprocating valve 5 and bypass ports 10 with a blown-down port 4, the valve 5, in one end position, engages a seat 26 to close the port 4, in an intermediate position, closes the port 3 while the ports 2 and 4 are in communication through by-pass ports 10, and in the other end position, closes the port 2 on engaging a valve seat 25.
