Abstract
104,128. Seligman, R., and Williams, P. Sept. 28, 1916. Corrosion, preventing.-Aluminium or its light alloys is protected from corrosion by sea-water, hard water, saline solutions, &c., by placing in the liquid, in electrical contact with the metal, strips or plates of an aluminium alloy that is electro-positive to the metal to be protected. An alloy of aluminium containing 5 per cent of zinc may be used to protect aluminium.
