Abstract

104,005. Mallet, A. Feb. 8, 1916, [Convention date]. Landing-gangways.-A box for carrying loading and unloading apparatus, more particularly for use in embarking or disembarking troops, animals, or material, is attached to, or combined with, the vehicle underframe. In an existing vehicle, the box is strapped beneath the underframe. In a new vehicle, the longitudinal frame members 1 are formed cenfrally beneath the door 8, of increased depth as shown at 2. with openings to receive the ends 3 of the box 4. The loading-device which is house in the box may be a folding slope or gangway as shown in Fig. 3.
