Abstract
103,994. Fulda, E. Feb. 8, 1916, [Convention date]. Disk wheels.-A pair of stamped-out disks 1, 2 having arms a each adapted to form one side of a spoke are connected by flanged plates 3 lapped around the edges of the arms so as to form tubular spokes, as shown in section at Fig. 7. The disks may be extended at the rim and hub and joined by flanged rings 6, 8, 9, Fig. 2, so as to form a box felloe and centre, the inner flanges on the connecting-members serving as spacing-devices for the disks. The joints may be brazed by dipping the wheel or otherwise.
