Abstract
8937. Jones, E. H., and Light Steel Tubular Wheels, Ltd. April 8. Disk wheels.-Wheels of the type comprising an outer rim, a hub or hub-containing member C, spokes B abutting against the hub or hub-containing member and the rim, and spider halves D on each side of the wheel skeleton, and enclosing the spokes, particularly of the kind described in Specification 21,929/06, have the edges of the spider halves 'welded, preferably electrically, to the spokes and to each other. The spokes may also be electrically welded to the rim and may consist of tubes with longitudinally welded joints. The edges of the centre holes in the spider halves may be turned over chamfered edges on the hub ring.
