Abstract

114,367. Dunkley, W. H. June 12, 1917. Disk wheels.-Perambulator wheels are formed from a pair of stamped &c. disks each having integral hub, spoke, and rim members, the spokes being folded to tubular form, and the rim halves, the edges of which may be reinforced by wires, being connected by folded-over lugs or clips. Fig. 5 shows a typical form in which the spokes b of the two disks are arranged to breakjoint, clips d being folded alternately from each half-rim a to embrace the other. Figs. 7 and 8 show other arrangements of the spoke elements. In a further modification, the disks are riveted together at the rim.
