Abstract
1,035,345. Clocks and watches. KIENZLE UHRENFABRIKEN G.m.b.H. April 1,1963 [April 17,1962], No.12832/63. Heading G3T. A watch balance is maintained by a magnet 7 on the balance cooperating with a fixed coil in circuit with a transistor blocking oscillator. The coil has a number of drive turns 2<SP>1</SP>,2<SP>11</SP> arranged across the output of the transistor and a number of pickup turns 3<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>11</SP> arranged across the input, such that as the magnet swings across the coil the induction voltage is symmetrical in relation to the zero position of the balance. One portion 3<SP>1</SP> of the pickup turns forms together with a portion 2<SP>1</SP> of the drive turns a first coil member 4 which is arranged adjacent and in the same place as a second coil member 5 formed by the other portion 3<SP>11</SP> of the pickup turns together with the other portion 2<SP>11</SP> of the drive turns. The drive and control turns are thus interwound, one set being of insulated standard wire and the other of baked enamelled wire. A starting contact 10 is provided. The balance carries a magnet on each side of the coil, the flux being completed through the balance shaft, Fig 2 (not shown).
