Abstract

1,033,851. Combustion chambers. TATRA NARODNI. Jan. 6, 1964 [Feb. 28, 1963], No. 569/64. Heading FIB. A fuel injector 3 arranged eccentrically of the axis of a toroidal combustion chamber 2 is provided with an even number of orifices so arranged that the points a....d at which the jets impinge on the combustion chamber wall are spaced at equal angles, considered from the combustion chamber axis. The impingement points b....d may lie in a plane, whilst that of the socket jet a is nearer the lip of the combustion chamber; alternatively the points c, d, may be a shorter distance from the lip of the chamber than the point b.
