Channel sections of a double chain endless scraper conveyer comprise W-sectioned chain guide profiles 6 welded to the edges 7 of a bottom plate 1, the latter having a flat upper side 2 and continuous strip like reinforcements 5 rolled integrally with the plate 1 on its underside 3 in the region of its lateral edges. Further reinforcing strips may be formed on the plate if desired. The edges of the plate 1 may be stepped to register with steps on the profiles 6 or may simply butt against each other, Fig. 2 (not shown).
