Abstract

1,030,983. Reciprocating pumps. S. G. F. FRITSCH. Jan. 27, 1965 [Jan. 27, 1964], No. 3656/65. Heading F1A. A pumping apparatus for supplying fuel to aircraft or motor vehicles comprises a hand operated double-acting plunger pump 13 and a water separating filter 23, connected to the pump outlet by a coupling 22, mounted on a sledge 1. The sledge is provided with recesses to house a suction hose 20 having a strainer and coupling 19 adapted to be connected to the inlet coupling 19 of the pump and a delivery hose adapted to be connected to the outlet 28 of the filter and be fitted with a spout 29. The filter is mounted on screw jacks 26 and an operating handle 16 is provided for the pump. The apparatus is provided with a cover 30 housing a box 31 containing a spare filter element. A tool kit may be provided.
