Abstract

The pump 23 is connected at its outlet 25 to a hose 26 an is driven by an electric motor 22 supplied by a cable 28, the cable and hose being contained in a flexible impervious sheath 29. When the pump is not in use, it is stored in a housing 10 mounted in the wall of a caravan. In order to pump water into the caravan through an inlet pipe 53, a closure member 17 is opened to withdraw the pump and flexible sheath from the housing. In a modification, a replaceable filter is mounted on the housing and may be inspected through a window to show when the filter needs changing. <IMAGE>
