Abstract

1,029,250. Loading vehicles by sliding over rollerways. W. POSADAS. Dec. 28, 1962 [Dec. 29, 1961], No. 46778/61. Heading B8E. An adaptor frame for attachment to a vehicle chassis comprises longitudinal flanged beams 1 mounting rollers 16 on bolts 15 and provided on either side of the rollers are bearing wheels 14 which rest on bars 13 having cam notches 19. The bars 13 are movable longitudinally by a screw 10 so that the rollers 16 can be raised to allow pallets to be loaded or lowered by engagement of the wheels 14 in the notches 19 so that the pallets rest on the beams 1 and are secured against displacement.
