Abstract

877,851. Hand trucks. LAYCOCK ENGINEERING Ltd. Dec. 8, 1959 [Dec. 23, 1958], No. 41401/58. Class 108(1). A mobile support for a vehicle comprises a pair of side frames 11 hinged at 20 to an end frame 17. Support members 38 are secured between the members 12 forming the side frames 11 and carry extensible members 33 to support the raised vehicle. A further pair of supports 32 is movably mounted between the members 11 and these supports carry further members 33. Screw jacks controlled by the hand wheels 29 engage the ground to prevent movement of the truck. To enable the truck to be moved under a car supported on a hydraulic ram the end gate 39 is removable. Specification 868,292 is referred to.
