Abstract

1,023,658. Endless conveyers. R. A. LISTER & CO. Ltd. Nov. 23, 1964 [Aug. 24, 1963], No. 33601/63. Heading B8A. Each of two links 20, 66 is pivotally connected at one end to an endless conveyer frame 42 and at the other end to a tractor. The link 66 is an hydraulic strut and may be extended to move the conveyer into the position shown in broken lines. Extension of a further hydraulic strut 67 may impart a movement of the whole conveyer in a fore-and-aft direction. The conveyer comprises an endless chain 44 which is driven by a reversible hydraulic motor 54 connected by flexible conduits (Fig. 3, not shown) to a pump in the tractor housing. Bales 88 (Fig. 7) to be conveyed are initially engaged by spike-like members 82 which are urged by springs 84 into a forwardly extending position.
