Abstract

1464830 Cleaning conveyer belts AMMERAAL NEDERLAND BV 20 Aug 1975 [20 Aug 1974 24 June 1975] 34568/75 Heading B8A A scraper 20 (Fig. 5) for the underside of the return run of a conveyer belt, is centrally thickened so as to compensate for the fact that the central part is subject to the greatest load. The scraper can be reversed by 180 degrees in its mounted sockets 141. Counterweights 40 may be adjusted along operating arms 41 pivoted at 30 to a frame member 3. In another arrangement (Fig. 9), the scraper is slidable in fixed channel members 32 being thereby loaded against the conveyer belt by counterweights in curved housings (45) Fig. 7, not shown) by the action of chains 43 connected to weights (140).
