Abstract

1,022,626. Endless conveyers. G. WIEDENMANN. May 9, 1963 [May 9, 1962; June 29, 1962], No. 18427/63. Heading B8A. An agricultural loader with a pick-up drum is characterized by a pair of endless chains 1 carrying spindles mounted in bearings 4 to which pickers 2 are attached. The pickers 2 are collapsed in the downward run of the chains and extended at right angles to the chains 1 by rollers 12, Figs. 2, 3 (not shown), on arms 5 engaging a guide rail 6. A guide board 3 keeps the material in the correct path and a striker plate 7 prevents the material being carried downwards, so that the material is thrown on to the floor of the loader where an endless belt 13 carries it to the rear.
