Abstract

101,956. Fles & Go., L. April 28, 1916, [Convention date]. Roller copying-presses. - A roller copying- machine is provided at the point where the letters &c. leave the copying-web and the machine with a movable device or switch and a guide whereby the letter &c. may, as usual, be directed out of the machine after one copy has been taken or may be re-fed for taking the second copy. As shown, the web 3 passes round the pressure rollers 1, 2, the letters &c. being fed in between the web 3 and roller 1. Under the feed-table is provided a curved guide 4 having pivoted at its lower edge a guide or switch plate 5, which may be set as shown in full lines to direct the letters 6 out of the machine as shown at 6<1>, or may be set as shown in full lines to direct the letters round between the guide 4 and a pivoted member 8 resting by its weight against the lower part of the roller 1, so that they pass again between the web 3 and roller 1. The pivoted guide 5 may be operated by a hand-lever 7.
