Abstract

1,019,389. Bracelets. A. VILLA. Feb. 14, 1963 [Feb. 16, 1962], No. 6012/63. Heading A3H. An expanding bracelet comprises a series of box-shaped elements linked by a coil spring and a bush projecting from one end of the elements and having lugs at the free end, which engage abutments on the inside surface of the side walls to act as stops. A series of box-shaped members 14 with a bush 10 on each member projecting into the adjacent member has a coil spring A which extends through the members and retains them in contact. The extension of the bracelet is limited by a pair of lugs 18 on the free end of each bush and which engage abutments on the inside surfaces of the side walls of the adjacent member. The edges of two guiding slots 20 on the bush engage the inner surface of the adjacent member to prevent relative rotation of the members. A plurality of series of members may be fixed side by side or each member may have more than one bush with lugs 18.
