Class 43 An expansible bracelet comprises a series: of adjacent outer links 1 each with an inner link 2 secured to it and projecting laterally into an adjacent outer link within which it has a limited movement in the longitudinal direction of the bracelet, and resilient means such as a coiled spring extending lengthwise in the bracelet so as to-urge the end faces of adjacent outer links 1 into contact. The outer-links 1 each comprise upper and lower trough-like units 1a, 1b which are secured together by bending end-wings 3 inwardly, as shown in Fig. 5, the longitudinal edges of the co-operating units being recessed to provide channels of circular section when in abutment. The inner links 2 each comprise a metal member, Fig. 8, with an enclosed channel 6 of substantially circular section along each edge in the longitudinal direction of the bracelet, and with flanges or stops 7 extending outwardly from its front and rear faces at each end. In its front face and adjacent to a stop 7 at one end two holes 8 are provided in each inner link 2 to engage two teeth 9, Fig. 6, projecting inwardly from one edge of the lower part 1b of the outer link 1 with which it is associated and thereby secured, the enclosed channels 6 being located in the substantially circular channels formed by the mating of the link units 1a, 1b. The links 1 are assembled with the. channels 6 of their respective inner links 2 in longitudinal alignment and retained by two coiled tension springs 10 which are extended throughout the channels and have their ends secured to the two end members of the bracelet. Each channel 6 is provided with an inwardly directed projection 12, Fig. 8, formed by indenting the wall to an extent sufficient to engage between two adjacent coils of the parts of the spring within it.
