In a connecting-rod arrangement for a V-type internal combustion engine comprising an articulated connecting-rod 4 rigidly secured, as by studs 8, to a pin 5 pivotally mounted in the head 2 of a main connecting-rod 1, the pin is formed in the region of a recess 2a in the head 2 with a planar support surface 7 which abuts an end face of the rod 4 and the pin 5 and rod 4 are aligned by diametrally opposite surfaces 6 on the pin and normal to the surface 7 engaging corresponding surfaces on projections 4<SP>1</SP> on the rod.
