The piston of the parent specification is modified in that the cooling fins are (a) continuous but non-circular 31, 32, (b) straight and parallel with the gudgeon pin axis (33 - - - 39, Fig. 3) or (c) a circulr series of gapped arcuate fins (42-44, Fig. 4).
