Oct. 24, 1963 [Oct. 25, 1962], No. 41997/63. Heading F2F. [Also in Division F1] A make-up reservoir for an hydraulic brake master cylinder is hermetically sealed off from atmosphere by a bellows 8 wherein the air space 15 above the level 16 of the hydraulic fluid in the make-up cylinder 2 is connected to the interior of the bellows 8 which is disposed outside the make-up reservoir and the folds of the bellows extend vertically to the bellowssecuring element 10. A flexible hose 14 connects the make-up reservoir and the bellows which is disposed away from the make-up reservoir at any convenient place on the vehicle. The bellows is made of an air-impervious plastics foil of relatively reduced wall thickness or of thin rubber plated with air-impervious plastics.
