[Also in Division B7] In a floating structure 10 for conducting underwater operations comprising a hull 12 carrying a derrick 14 secured to a platform 22 movable between a position over a mooring member 20 and, when a hinged cantilever structure 26, 32 is swung down, a position over the side of the ship, and direction controlling thrusters 184<SP>1</SP> at the stern and 186<SP>1</SP> in transverse tunnel 188 at the bows, the mooring member 20 extends through a well 33 formed in the hull by a cylindrical wall 34 between the deck 18 and bottom 36, includes a cylindrical sleeve 38 (through which underwater operations may be performed) with a flange portion 40 and rollers 58 enabling the member to be mounted in the hull for relative rotation about a vertical axis, and has mooring lines 128 taken over fairleads 130 on the sleeve 38 to the drums of anchor winches 122.
