Abstract

1,011,133. Wells &c. CAMERON IRON WORKS Inc. Nov. 13, 1962 [March 13, 1962], No. 42887/62. Heading E1F. Wellhead apparatus comprises a casing head 10, a bowl 13 formed in the bore 12 of the casing head, a hangar seatable in the bowl and comprising annular bodies 21, 23a connected by webs 22, and means 26 for closing the openings between the webs and holding the hangar down on the seat. The seal 30 and hold down ring 33 are forced downwardly by screwing a sleeve 29 on to the hangar. The sleeve is turned by a running tool 28 having pins 36 engaging slots 37 in the sleeve.
