Abstract

1,010,681. Valves. ETABLISSEMENTS PINGEOT-BARDIN. March 20, 1964 [May 10, 1963], No. 11935/64. Heading F2V. A valve suitable for bicycle tyres has a resilient valve member 3 carried in a groove 4 between a flange 5 and a coned part 6 of a stem 10, the larger diameter of the cone being smaller than the diameter of the valve member but greater than the smaller diameter of a conical seat 2. The stem is threaded at 8 to receive a locking nut 9, and the valve may be spring-loaded.
