Abstract

1,010,202. Photographic diffusion transfer material. KODAK Ltd. Sept. 14,1962 [Sept. 14, 1961], No. 33006/61. Heading G2C. A receiving sheet for use in the silver salt diffusion process comprises a paper support coated with a layer comprising clay in a binder and then with a gelatin layer containing development nuclei or a substance which forms such nuclei during development. The binder for the clay layer may be polyvinyl acetate, a butadiene/methyl methacrylate copolymer, a styrene/butadiene copolymer, an acrylic resin or gelatin. The material may be overcoated with a layer of carbonymethyl cellulose which may contain the silver halide solvent.
