Abstract

100,991. King, C. F. L. May 8, 1916. Vaporizers, external. -Liquid fuel is vaporized in a coiled pipe or chamber c surrounding a branch b from the exhaust pipe a. The branch is of smaller diameter than the pipe, so that when the valve d is closed, back-pressure may occur in the exhaust pipe, which sends a greater stream of hot gas through the jacket of the induction pipe. The valve d may be controlled by a thermostat.
