Abstract

1,005,206. Two-part couplings. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Oct. 9, 1962 [Nov. 28, 1961], No. 42501/61. Heading H2E. An electric heating element is provided with a non-reversible earthed 3-pin connector. The element 3 is mounted on a hollow metal housing 1 in which an insulating contact mounting block 7 is held by a screw ring 21 with a sealing washer 23. A pair of current carrying pins, e.g. 9, and a rectangular earth pin 13, are moulded into the block 7, the earth pin being integral with, or riveted to a cross-bar 14, the ends of which provide earth continuity with the housing 1.
