Abstract

100,227. Pratt, A. B. March 29, 1915, [Convention date]. Stocks.-Consists in a rifle stock specially designed to prevent injury to the face on the recoil of the rifle. The stock has its comb 15 substantially lower than the barrel, a thumb-recess 9 below the comb, and its top edge inclined downwards from the heel. The thumb-recess may be closed by a bridge-piece 11. The stock may have a pistol grip 7 as shown.
