Abstract

1,000,464. Lubricator. COLEY BROS. (TOOLS) Ltd. July 31, 1961 [Sept. 3, 1960], No. 29257/63. Divided out of 946,116. Heading F2A. [Also in Division B3] A lubricator 1 for a shaft 10 which moves axially in a bush 11, comprises a cup-shaped member 13 having an annular oil-pad 18 therein and having circumferentially-spaced projections 17 which engage a circumferential groove 12 at the lower end of the bush 11. The washer 18 is of hard felt and is in engagement with the shaft 10, lubricant being supplied through a mouth of the member 13 which is formed by a flared portion 20 thereof. A combined seal and scraper 19 is located between the pad 18 and a base 14 of the member 13.
