Abstract
1,000,324. Reverse gear. L. PETRONI. Sept. 25, 1963 [Aug. 1, 1963], No. 37763/63. Heading F2D. A gyratory epicyclic reverse gear comprises an internally toothed planet 7 carried by the eccentric hub 6 of an input driving gear 5 and meshing a sun 8 keyed on an output shaft 1, the gear 5 being clutched to the output shape by a sliding face-dog clutch 3 for solid direct forward drive and the planet 7 being held from rotation for reduced reverse drive.
