Abstract

L’invention concerne un pneumatique (10) comprenant un bloc de sommet (12), deux bourrelets (32), deux flancs (30) reliant chaque bourrelet (32) au bloc de sommet (12). Le bloc de sommet (12) comprend une armature de sommet (16) comprenant une couche de sommet ondulée (24, 26, 28) comprenant des ondulations. Le pneumatique (10) comprend un insert de flanc (90) comprenant une composition élastomérique rigide (92, 93, 94) dont l’extrémité radialement extérieure (96) est agencée: radialement à l’extérieur de l’équateur (E) du pneumatique et,axialement à l’intérieur de l’extrémité axiale (241, 242) de la couche de sommet (24) radialement la plus intérieure de l’armature de sommet (16) et à une distance axiale ENG ≤ 20 mm de ladite extrémité axiale (242, 242).
