Abstract
La présente invention concerne un emballage en matériau biodégradable (de préférence en carton) conçu pour le conditionnement secondaire de bouteilles, de boîtes ou similaires et dans le but de permettre le regroupement, le transport et l'empilage facile de plusieurs unités de récipients en utilisant des matériaux durables du point de vue environnemental. Il est composé de deux plateaux plats (de préférence en papier) : un plateau inférieur (2) qui supporte le contenu (1) et un plateau supérieur (3) qui protège et bloque les récipients par leurs extrémités supérieures. L'ensemble est enveloppé verticalement par une structure en forme de bande (4) en matériau facilement recyclable qui le compacte et qui passe exactement au centre du plateau supérieur et en particulier au centre des deux ouvertures (9) présentes sur le plateau supérieur (3). Dans l’état de la technique, la solution la plus largement utilisée dans le domaine de l’emballage secondaire est représentée par un système qui prévoit l’enroulement des récipients à emballer dans un film composé de matières plastiques thermorétractables ou extensibles. Des poignées de prise sont appliquées sur ces films et généralement constituées d’une partie centrale de prise et d’une paire de portions adhésives de jonction qui s’étendent depuis la portion centrale de prise et qui sont collées latéralement au film qui entoure les produits à emballer. Par contre, la portion centrale reste au niveau de la partie supérieure du paquet pour servir de prise pour le levage et le transport manuel dudit paquet. Ces solutions d’emballage utilisent presque toujours des matières plastiques de type polyéthylène, polyéthylène linéaire à faible densité, PTFE, PVDF, PVC, tous des matériaux difficiles à recycler. D’autres solutions plus pertinentes du point de vue de la durabilité environnementale ont été conçues et commercialisées, même s’il s’agit de solutions qui font encore appel au plastique ou ne sont pas performantes du point de vue de l’agilité et de la maniabilité pendant le transport et l’empilage. L’une d’elles consiste à remplacer le film thermorétractable par deux cerclages simples en PET et en PP, en réduisant ainsi, mais pas en éliminant l’utilisation de plastique. Une autre solution remplace l’enveloppe en plastique thermorétractable par une plate-forme en carton qui regroupe et bloque les récipients (dans ce cas des bouteilles) par le col.
