Abstract

La présente invention concerne un emballage en matériau biodégradable (de préférence en carton) conçu pour le conditionnement secondaire de bouteilles, de boîtes ou similaires et dans le but de permettre le regroupement, le transport et l'empilage facile de plusieurs unités de récipients en utilisant des matériaux durables du point de vue environnemental. Ces solutions d’emballage utilisent presque toujours des matières plastiques de type polyéthylène, polyéthylène linéaire à faible densité, PTFE, PVDF, PVC, tous des matériaux difficiles à recycler. D’autres solutions plus pertinentes du point de vue de la durabilité environnementale ont été conçues et commercialisées, même s’il s’agit de solutions qui font encore appel au plastique ou ne sont pas performantes du point de vue de l’agilité et de la maniabilité pendant le transport et l’empilage. L’une d’elles consiste à remplacer le film thermorétractable par deux cerclages simples en PET et en PP, en réduisant ainsi, mais pas en éliminant l’utilisation de plastique. Une autre solution remplace l’enveloppe en plastique thermorétractable par une plate-forme en carton qui regroupe et bloque les récipients (dans ce cas des bouteilles) par le col.
