E nsemble (10) absorbeur d’énergie de choc L’invention concerne un ensemble (10) absorbeur d’énergie de choc, comprenant une poutre de pare-chocs et au moins un dispositif absorbeur d'énergie (1), interposé entre cette poutre de pare-chocs (2) et un longeron (3) d’un véhicule automobile, ce dispositif absorbeur d'énergie, encore appelé crashbox en anglais , comportant un corps comportant une matière plastique et au moins un insert (12) réalisé en matériau composite comprenant une matière plastique et une charge de renfort noyée dans cette matière plastique de l’insert, le corps en plastique et l’insert en composite étant liés notamment par soudage, collage, thermoformage, l’insert comprenant une zone de faiblesse mécanique (15) agencée pour favoriser une amorce de cassure du dispositif absorbeur.
