Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif absorbeur d'énergie (1) agencé pour être monté entre un pare-chocs et un longeron de véhicule automobile, le dispositif absorbeur d'énergie comportant : - au moins un insert (12 ; 30), notamment réalisé en matériau composite, comprenant au moins trois parois longitudinales (15) s'étendant depuis le pare-chocs vers le longeron, lorsque le dispositif absorbeur d'énergie est monté entre le pare-chocs et le longeron, - une structure en matériau plastique (13; 31) enveloppant au moins partiellement l'insert, cette structure étant notamment réalisée par surmoulage de l'insert avec le matériau plastique.
