Abstract
Essieu arrière (10) de véhicule automobile comprenant deux bras longitudinaux (11) et au moins une traverse transversale (12) s’étendant selon une direction transversale (Y) entre deux extrémités (12a, 12b) opposées reliées chacune à un bras longitudinal (11), ladite traverse (12) présentant la forme générale d’une poutre en U à extrémités ouvertes délimitée par deux parois latérales avant et arrière (16, 17) et une paroi supérieure (18), ladite traverse (12) étant symétrique par rapport à un plan médian (XZ) passant le centre (C) de la traverse (12), la paroi latérale avant (16) comprend une paire de parties d’extrémité opposées (16a, 16b) et une partie médiane (16c) s’étendant entre lesdites parties d’extrémités (16a, 16b). Chacune des parties d’extrémités (16a, 16b) comprend une portion de renfort (20) s’étendant transversalement entre un bras (11) et la partie médiane (16c) de la traverse (12) et présentant chacune une hauteur (H1) supérieure à la hauteur (H) de la traverse (12). Chaque portion de renfort (12) est espacée d’une première distance (D1) de l’extrémité correspondante (12a, 12b) de la traverse (12). Figure pour l’abrégé : Fig 1
