Turbomachine (10) comportant un arbre rotatif (16), un palier (18) soutenant l’arbre rotatif (16), un support de palier (20) soutenant le palier (18), et une bague intermédiaire (24) disposée entre le palier (18) et le support de palier (20), la bague intermédiaire (24) étant configurée pour coulisser axialement par rapport au palier (18), un premier joint (36) couplé axialement avec le palier (18) et un deuxième joint (38) couplé axialement avec la bague intermédiaire (24), le premier joint (36), le deuxième joint (38), le palier (18) et la bague intermédiaire (24) définissant une chambre (40) à longueur axiale (L) variable et formant, lorsqu’elle est remplie d’huile, un amortisseur à raideur variable.
