Abstract

The present invention relates to a closed container for collecting used products, used materials, in particular, stuffed products, paper, cardboard, including a tank (Cv) through which an opening (Ov) normally closed by a hatch (Tp) access to the interior of the volume of said vessel. According to the invention, the container (100, 100 ') is associated with a carriage (Cs) for transporting and storing said products, said materials and whose dimensions allow it to be contained within said tank, said carriage comprising means for storing said products, for collecting said materials that may be poured through said opening when it is disposed inside said tank. Thus, the cart can be used to store the products / materials dumped in the tank. The trolley is also used to transport the products / materials and to evacuate them, for example, in a transfer vehicle to a recycling center. The truck is still used to collect products / materials in a close environment and to bring them back to the container.

Description

The present invention relates to a container intended for collecting used products, used materials, such as, for example, stuffed products (such as quilts, pillows, cushions), paper, cardboard.

It is known to use in waste collection centers boxes, containers for collecting waste of a particular kind, for example plastics, rubble, wood, etc. These boxes are generally open and consumers throw in these boxes arranged below, sorted waste, each box being devoted to a particular kind of waste. The containers are closed but have an access opening for discharging small volumes of waste of a particular kind. Such closed containers are also installed in towns and villages and serve as voluntary collection points to which consumers who have sorted their household waste move to throw them in dedicated containers.

On the basis of this observation, the applicant sought a solution to facilitate the work of collecting and transporting used products and used materials.

For this purpose, a closed container is proposed intended for collecting used products, used materials, in particular, stuffed products, paper, cardboard, comprising a tank through which an opening normally closed by an access hatch towards the inside the volume of said tank; according to the invention, the container is associated with a trolley for transporting and storing said products, said materials and whose dimensions allow it to be contained inside said tank, said trolley comprising means for storing said products, for collecting said materials capable of being poured through said opening when it is placed inside said tank.

Thus, one can use the trolley to store the products / materials spilled in the tank. The trolley is also used to transport the products / materials and evacuate them, for example, in a transfer vehicle to a recycling center. The cart is also used to collect products / materials in a close environment and bring them back to the container.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the opening is made through an oblique front wall surmounting a side wall constituting said tank, so that said products, said spilled materials can fall back into the storage means of the carriage.

Virtually all of the spilled waste falls into the cart's storage.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the carriage comprises a base intended to support the mass of the storage means for said products, said materials liable to be spilled, such as a bag, a bin.

The mass of products and materials rests on the base. Their transport is facilitated.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the carriage comprises a bracket integral with said base, the bracket holding a hoop intended to retain the opening of a loading bag.

The opening of the bag is kept wide open by the strapping allowing the deposit of products / materials in said bag.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the perimeter of the tank is delimited by four side walls and said tank has no bottom wall between its four side walls.

The container is suitable to be placed directly on the ground or preferably on a slab

In an alternative embodiment, the perimeter of the tank is delimited by four side walls and said tank is provided with a bottom wall under which rollers are mounted to allow movement by rolling of said container.

The container can thus easily be moved with its carriage carried on said bottom wall or without its carriage.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the trolley comprises a tubular chassis comprising the base which extends horizontally in the position of use of the trolley, the tubular chassis comprising two tubes of geometry in L and which are joined in vis- opposite by means of at least one connecting plate and a carrying axle of two wheels, the axis being positioned practically at the corner of the L-shaped geometry of the two tubes, the lower ends of the two tubes being bent downwards to serve with the two wheels as stable support points on the ground of said carriage.

The carriage remains stable on its support points.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, a side wall is hollowed out as far as its lower part and a door is mounted on a hinge on an edge of said side wall, to release or close the opening passing through said wall.

The door allows access to the trolley.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, an access ramp is hingedly mounted on the edge of the bottom wall which faces the door.

The carriage can then easily be taken out of the tank or be introduced into it by rolling on the access ramp.

The container 100 shown in Figs. 1 to 4 is intended to collect products, used materials, and in particular, stuffed products, such as duvets, pillows, cushions. It is intended to be installed in a fixed outdoor position, especially in recycling centers.

The container 100 consists of a tank Cv and inside which is installed a transport and storage cart Cs, visible only in FIG. 3, but described in detail with reference to Figs. 5, 6 and 7.

The tank Cv of the container 100 is made of a plastic material and more precisely of polyethylene and preferably of high density polyethylene (HDPE) by a rotational molding process. It is manufactured in one piece, that is to say that it is in one piece. This material is recyclable. The tank having reached the end of its life, the polyethylene which constitutes it can be collected, then transformed into granules which will be used for the manufacture of new polyethylene products. The tank of the invention thus participates in the development of the circular economy. One can also proceed to thermal recycling of polyethylene.

In an interesting manufacturing method, the thickness of the tank is approximately 8 mm.

The container 100 is presented in its position of use. The envelope of the tank Cv comprises four lateral walls P1-P4, preferably practically flat, delimiting the perimeter of the tank Cv, two oblique walls, front Pt and dorsal Pd in the form of a roof and which are joined by an upper wall Ps arranged almost horizontally and to close the upper part of the tank Cv. The perimeter of the tank has a square or rectangular geometry.

These three walls Pt, Pd and Ps are joined laterally to the two side walls PI and P3 and which, to do this, extend upward to form the upper part of said tank.

The tank Cv has no bottom wall between its four side walls P1-P4 and this is visible in FIG. 3. The tank Cv rests by the lower free edges of its four side walls P1-P4 on the ground or as shown in this FIG. 3, preferably on a slab and on which it is fixed. The slab is, for example, a Db slab made of concrete. The carriage Cs rests on the slab Db.

Recesses Rn dig the four side walls P1-P4 of the tank Cv to stiffen them.

The wall P2 is hollowed out as far as its lower part and a door Po is mounted on a hinge on an edge of the said side wall, to release or close the opening passing through the said wall. The door Po is mounted on several hinges Cn of vertical axis allowing a lateral opening of said door.

Recesses Rn also hollow out the wall of the door Po to reinforce it. It is provided with a latch operable by a key and intended to keep it normally closed. The door Po is preferably manufactured by rotational molding.

Handling means are provided on the upper wall Ps to move, using a lifting device, the container 100 to its place of use. They consist of holes passing through the upper wall Ps to receive the hooks of a lifting machine.

An opening Ov is made through the oblique front wall Pt. It is intended to allow the container to be filled. A reinforcing frame Ct surrounds the perimeter of said opening. It is preferably placed during the manufacture of the tank Cv to remain perfectly integrated therein.

A Tp hatch is attached to the tank. It is mounted in an articulated manner and preferably on the upper edge of the reinforcement frame, between a position for closing said opening and a position for releasing said opening allowing the deposit of waste, of bulk products, in said tank. The hatch Tp opens towards the inside of the tank by simple pressing on said hatch. A return means, such as a spring mounted between the hatch and its reinforcing frame, forces the hatch to naturally close. Spilled products remain enclosed and protected from moisture in the tank when the hatch is closed.

The carriage Cs for transport and storage is in FIG. 3, arranged inside the tank Cv resting on the slab Db. By opening the door Po, it is possible to bring the carriage Cs into the enclosure of the tank Cv or to take it out. The carriage Cs is intended to support the used products or materials discharged into the tank Cv through its hatch Tp. It is also used to move the products collected to transport them to a transfer location, with the aim of allowing their recycling.

In Figs. 5, 6 and 7, the carriage Cs consists of a tubular chassis Cb comprising, a base Eb which extends in a substantially horizontal position in the position of use of the carriage Cs, and which is intended to carry the mass of a storage means such as a loading bag Sc, a bracket Pc intended to hold the open neck of the bag Sc. The bracket Pc is integral with the base Eb.

The tubular frame Cb comprises two tubes Tbl and Tb2 of geometry in L and which are joined vis-à-vis by means of at least one connecting plate PI and an axis Ax carrying two wheels RI and R2 , the axis being positioned practically at the corner of the L-shaped geometry of the two tubes Tb. The lower ends of the two tubes Tb are bent downwards to serve with the two wheels R as stable support points for the carriage Cs on the slab Db. The two upper ends of the two tubes Tb are joined by a hoop Cg which extends horizontally above the base Eb and which is used to hold the neck of the bag Sc open, for example, using pliers . The strapping Cg consists of a portion of tube folded and welded on the end of the two tubes Tb. The height of the bracket Pc, that is to say of the two high ends of the two tubes Tb, is such that the strapping Cg is disposed under the opening Ov of the oblique front wall Pt. Furthermore, the perimeter of the strapping Cg comes as close as possible to the perimeter of the tank Cv at this point, so that the products spilled in the tank can fall into the bag. In Fig. 7, the perimeter of the strapping Cg has a square geometry.

The base Eb is formed by the horizontal branches of the two tubes Tbl, Tb2 and which are joined by the intermediary of several tubes and on which the bag Sc rests. A support plate can take place on the tubes or replace them in order to increase the support surface of the bag.

In Fig. 3, the slab Db has an access ramp facilitating the rolling of the carriage Cs towards the interior of the tank Cv and its removal. Furthermore, the upper face of the slab is hollowed out from two locations for receiving the two wheels R of the carriage Cs to wedge it in its locked storage position.

The operation of the container 100 of the invention is as follows. It is installed on a slab designed for this purpose, in a place for collecting used products, such as a recycling center. One or more containers are dedicated to the collection of particular used products, for example, stuffed products. The hatch Tp carries a marking which is clearly visible to the user because it is located at eye level, indicating to the user the nature of the used products that the container is intended to contain.

The cart Cs is equipped with a storage bag Sc attached to the strapping Cg, then it is moved inside the tank Cv. The Po door is locked. A user deposits in the tank, by pushing the hatch Tp, a used product which falls into the bag Sc. When the bag is filled, a person in charge of recycled products, typically the dock technician, then intervenes. He opens the door Po, and takes out the cart Cs. He closes the bag and moves it, either by carrying it or using the cart, in a temporary storage case awaiting recycling. The collection bags are then transferred to a regrouping center, then to recycling their contents, for example, to make tatami mats from cushions. The person deposits and fixes a new empty bag on the cart and takes it inside of it, then closes the door. The container can be used again.

The container 100 of the invention thus participates in the recycling of used products by promoting sorting at source.

In an alternative embodiment presented in FIGS. 8, 9 and 10, the container 100 ′ of the invention is suitable for collecting paper, used cardboard, from public or private companies, from communities, in order to allow their recycling, with the aim of being again reused, in particular by stationers to be transformed into cardboard, paper towels, newsprint, writing paper, etc.

The container 100 'is here placed directly on the ground S. Its tank Cv is provided with a bottom wall Pf under which are mounted rollers RI to allow movement by rolling of said container. In Figs. 8 and 9, the container 100 'is carried by four casters, two of which are fitted with brakes. The bottom wall Pf is preferably made from aluminum foil to support the mass of the loaded Cs carriage. An access ramp Rs is hingedly mounted on the edge of the bottom wall Pf which is turned towards the door Po. When the latter is open, the access ramp can be tilted so that its free edge rests On the ground. The carriage Cs can thus easily be taken out of the tank Cv or be inserted therein. The cart Cs is intended to collect used paper or cardboard, in a company, a community, then to transport them in the container 100 '.

The container 100 'is installed, for example, in a community. The staff use the cart to collect used sheets and boxes in the various departments to bring them back to the container. The Cs trolley avoids making personnel carry too heavy loads as recommended by standards in the field of ergonomics of work. The Cs cart can be transported in an elevator to extend its field of action. The container 100 'can also be moved by rolling on the same level of the building, to collect other used paper or cardboard. When filled, the trolley is stored inside the container 100 ', awaiting the passage of a transfer vehicle to a recycling center. The cart can then be used to transport used paper and cardboard for loading into the vehicle.

The container 100 ′ is suitable for serving as a terminal for recovering used paper and cardboard in businesses and communities.

In a first embodiment not shown, the container is equipped with an apparatus for shredding sheets of paper. Its use allows the destruction of confidential documents but the cut strips of paper can however be recycled. The apparatus for grinding sheets of paper is preferably installed on one of the oblique walls Pt or Pd and advantageously on the front wall Pt. The latter can remain closed.

In a second variant embodiment, not shown, the bag is replaced by a removable tray held in the strapping or simply resting on the base of the carriage. The carriage can then be devoid of stem and strapping.

Without departing from the scope of this invention, the container equipped with its trolley can also be used to collect, as close as possible to the users, other products and used materials, by selection and collection, by implementing sorting at source.
