Dispositif d'aide à la conduite d'un véhicule (4) comprenant au moins un moyen de détection configuré pour détecter, sur une scène de route (8) au moins un objet (10), une unité de contrôle, un dispositif d'affichage affichant au moins une information visuelle, caractérisé en ce que l'unité de contrôle est configurée pour déterminer une zone de sécurité (6) définie en fonction du véhicule (4) et en fonction de l'objet (10), et en ce qu'une représentation visuelle de la zone de sécurité (6) est affichée à l'aide du dispositif d'affichage.
