Abstract

L'invention concerne un système (100) d'aide à la conduite d'un véhicule ferroviaire circulant dans un réseau ferroviaire, ledit système (100) comprenant au moins un moyen de détermination de la position (102; 104) dudit véhicule dans le réseau ferroviaire, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre : - une cartographie (106) dudit réseau ferroviaire mémorisant : • au moins une position, dite de balise, d'au moins une balise de signalisation dans ledit réseau ferroviaire, et • au moins une donnée de signalisation relative audit réseau ferroviaire, associée à ladite au moins une balise de signalisation, prévue pour être communiquée à un véhicule ferroviaire ; et -un module de traitement (108) pour déterminer une action de pilotage en fonction de la position du véhicule et de ladite cartographie (106). L'invention concerne aussi un véhicule ferroviaire comprenant un système d'aide à la conduite selon l'invention.
