L'invention concerne un système (10) d'aide à une identification d'un véhicule automobile comprenant : - un dispositif lumineux (11) comportant : - une source lumineuse (12) apte à émettre des rayons lumineux (13), et - un moyen de mise en forme (14) des rayons lumineux (13) pour former un faisceau lumineux (15), caractérisé en ce que le dispositif lumineux (11) est configuré pour émettre le faisceau lumineux (15) sensiblement selon un axe vertical du véhicule et suivant un sens se dirigeant au-dessus du véhicule.
